CRAFTY WITCH CREATIONS- Welcome to Crafty Witch Creations! Creating something new from something old or unused has been around for ages. I made my first denim handbag back in high school in the 1970's. It was pretty simple and I called it my "Butt Bag" since it was made from only the top portion of an old pair of jeans. Many years of sewing later, I've rekindled my love of all things denim. When you browse my shop, you'll find handbags, small pouches like coin purses or make up bags, denim earrings and unique keychains. Some items are one of a kind in that they will be unique due to the difference in the color or style of the denim jeans used to create them. I love that making upcycled denim handbags and accessories not only helps keep unwanted jeans from a landfill, it also helps out the thrift shops and good will stores that I purchase from not to mention all the friends that offer me their unwanted jeans! So, do something nice for our beautiful planet and shop upcycled! I also love to quilt, so you'll see my quilts too. I use a lot of scraps up so very little gets thrown away. Each scrap quilt will be different depending on which scraps or designs I use to create them. I use cotton batting inside each quilt which makes them still lightweight but warm. Purchasing handmade or handcrafted shows you care about items that people actually make with their own hands and not only helps out us creators, it also helps keep the suppliers of our craft in business.
